‭My Journey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker‬ ‭

‭My journey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has been driven by a deep commitment to‬ ‭ helping individuals and families access the support and care they need to thrive—mentally,‬ ‭ emotionally, and socially. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse‬ ‭ populations, developing programs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bridge the‬ ‭ gap between mental health services and the people who need them most.‬

‭At Optum Healthcare/Monarch, I took on the rewarding challenge of developing a program‬ ‭ designed to help members utilize mental health services within their own homes. Recognizing‬ ‭ that accessibility and comfort are key components of effective care, our goal was to reduce‬ ‭ barriers to treatment by integrating behavioral health resources into members’ everyday‬ ‭ environments. Through this initiative, I collaborated with clinicians, care coordinators, and‬ ‭ community partners to build a model that emphasized person-centered, compassionate, and‬ ‭ holistic care.‬

Empowering Change Through Connection

‭ This experience strengthened my belief that mental health support should meet individuals‬ ‭ where they are—both literally and emotionally. I saw firsthand how innovation and empathy can‬ ‭ come together to create meaningful, sustainable outcomes for clients.‬

‭ Throughout my career, I’ve remained passionate about advancing mental health equity,‬ ‭ improving access to care, and empowering individuals to live their fullest lives.
